Meet Dr. Susan Lempert: Visionary Founder of HempDent
At the heart of HempDent’s mission to promote “Healthy Smiles, Healthy Bodies” is our visionary founder, Dr. Susan Lempert. With an unwavering dedication to holistic health and a passion for innovation, Dr. Lempert has paved the way for a revolutionary approach to oral and systemic well-being.
Dr. Lempert’s journey began with an impressive educational foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Brown University in 1992, setting the stage for her future endeavors in the field of healthcare. Driven by a desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, she pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Temple University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1997.
Not content with simply practicing dentistry, Dr. Lempert’s thirst for knowledge led her to delve deeper into the intricacies of oral biology. She earned her Master of Science in Oral Biology from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1999, alongside a Certificate in Orthodontics. This specialized training equipped her with the expertise to understand the complex interplay between oral health and overall well-being.
As her career progressed, Dr. Lempert became increasingly fascinated by the potential of natural remedies and alternative approaches to healthcare. This curiosity led her to pursue a Certificate in Cannabis Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University in 2024, where she gained a profound understanding of the human Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and its crucial role in regulating oral and systemic health.
Armed with this comprehensive knowledge and a burning desire to make a difference, Dr. Lempert founded HempDent with a clear vision in mind.
